The No Impact Project is an international, environmental, nonprofit project, founded in the spring of 2009. It was inspired by the No Impact Man book, film, and blog. Its mission is to empower citizens to make choices that better their lives and lower their environmental impact through lifestyle change, community action, and participation in environmental politics. Partnering with Slow Food USA and 1Sky, the No Impact Project hopes to bring people together during the week of Earth Day 2010 to watch and discuss the film, then take action in their communities.
